The College of Medicine at Alfaisal University has graduated its first student from the Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Biology Master program. Mrs. Maha Adel Gumssani defended her research thesis titled “Quantification of Variance in the Oocyte Activation Factor Phospholipase C Zeta in Mouse Models” under the supervision of Dr. Junaid Kashir and Dr. Abdullah Assiri. Professor Khalid AlKattan stated that the Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Biology Master program is a unique post-graduate program, being the first in the Middle East designed to match similar European and North American programs.
He added that the program was the result of a fruitful collaboration between Alfaisal University and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre to provide quality post-graduate and professional programs to meet growing job demands in the Saudi Arabian health sector.
