The College of Engineering and Advanced Computing organized a research seminar on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, delivered by Dr. Chen. The seminar was titled: ” Recent Research, Certification, and Solutions for MRI Safety of Medical Implants & Graduate Studies at the University of Houston.”
The seminar focused on recent studies being conducted at the University of Houston, addressing safety issues related to medical devices under MRI emissions. Dr. Chen discussed challenges, methods, and innovative solutions to ensure the safety of various devices, including passive implantable devices, passive external fixation devices, and active medical devices in MRI environments.
