On September 8, 2025, the Center for Innovation Partnerships and Community (CIPC) hosted a high-level delegation from NEOM and the institution of IRCAD. The visit focused on advancing collaboration in medical simulation, robotics, and healthcare innovation, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a hub for transformative medical education.
NEOM delegation included Dr. Khaled Hamawi, Dr. Zaki Algasemi, and Mr. Sultan Shokair, and Prof. Jacques Marescaux from IRCAD, accompanied by their respective team members.
Discussions explored curriculum co-design, advanced simulation training, faculty and student exchanges, and the development of state-of-the-art facilities in Riyadh. This partnership highlights Alfaisal University’s commitment to shaping world-class training platforms in line with Vision 2030.
