In September 2025, Stanford University released the World’s Top 2% Scientists List 2024, based on citation analysis from the Scopus database. The list, compiled by Professor John P. A. Ioannidis and his team, is issued annually in two categories:
- Career Impact, which reflects long-term contributions to research.
- Annual Impact, which highlights recent publications with significant influence.
This year, 14 Alfaisal University faculty members were included. Their recognition is an important milestone for the university’s research community. The list validates the quality of their scholarship, highlights the global visibility of their work, and serves as an objective benchmark of excellence within the international academic landscape.
